  • Peaks for Parkinson's, On the Move in the Mountains: This event is taking place on Vermont's 273 mile Long Trail this August. People living with PD, their caregivers and family members are encouraged to participate by joining 2007 Long Trail End-to-Ender, Jocelyn Hebert, and hiking a short distance with her along the trail as she treks the length of it. The Long Trail runs the length of Vermont, from Massachusetts to the Canadian border and follows the spine of the Green Mountains. This journey has three goals: 1) to increase awareness for Parkinson's. 2) to raise funds to help support people and families affected by Parkinson's. 3) to encourage the community to walk together and have fun.
