Information and Referral Center

If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, there are, no doubt, many questions running through your mind. Receiving a diagnosis of any chronic disease can be overwhelming, and your mind needs time to process new information. As questions arise, there is a somewhere to go right here in Vermont for answers.

The American Parkinson Disease Association's Information and Referral Center is located at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. Staffed by Jean Baker, an experienced Registered Nurse, the Center can provide you with free publications, videos, audiotapes and information about local resources and the disease in general.

Working hand in hand with the Vermont Chapter, the Center organizes educational conferences each year. Jean is also available to provide inservices about Parkinson's disease to facilities, home care agencies and other organizations.
